The Weekend
Jul. 10th, 2006 01:04 pmWas full. Absolutely packed with houseworking-party-going-spontanious-boating-trip-fancy-dress-costume-buying-bagel-eating-goodness, but the weight remains at 85kilos. Get off me, dammit!
The costume is for a friend’s party next weekend; we’re going to be celebrating her birthday by travelling around Paris for several hours on a party-boat, and everyone is required to wear fancy dress. I was going to opt for a pilots uniform (having recently seen “Catch me if you can”), but they had none in, so I settled for going as a Commander in naval white dress uniform. I look rather dashing in it, if I say so myself.
What else? We slept until 11:30 on Sunday & were woken by Caroles mobile, with Alex & Rinnike asking us to come spontaniously boating with them, which we duly did. Much fun was had, and the weather stayed clear until we were safely back in the car, so that’s good.
I’d to comment on Dr Who, but frankly, I had absolutely zero idea what was happening in the episode, thought I’m pleased that the Daleks were sufficiently lethal & merciless.
Right then. Quarter-end is in full flow, so there’s lots to do, but its not exactly in full-on ‘insane panic’ mode.
At least, not yet, at any rate.
