Oct. 4th, 2006 11:22 amLast night I watched an interview on CNN between a gun conrol lobbyist & a member of the NRA, in the aftermath of the tragic events in Pensylvania. I couldn't watch the end of the interview, after the NRA member said that "gun control laws dont prevent the bad guys from getting guns, it only stops the good guys. Its because of these laws that the atrocities in Pensylvania have taken place, and the blood of these children demands that these laws be reversed".
My quote might not be 100% accurate, but I swear to god that this was his sentiment, and he did use the phrase 'the blood of these children calls for these laws to be reversed'
I dont know whether I feel sick at his debauched view of the world, or shamefully impressed by his chutzpah at actually being able to say that & keep a straight face...
