Quick update
Nov. 22nd, 2006 02:54 pmAfter several days of early starts & early finishes, we're now pretty much over the jet-lag; as such, after yesterdays trip to Statten Island, we risked watching Casino Royale in Times Square last night. Previously, this would have been a no-no, as there would have been a very real chance that one or both of us would have fallen asleep during Mr Bonds antics.
The film was very good, incidentally. A touch too long with false-endings, but overall a solid addition to the franchise.
Today we have been told that the weather for the next 48 hours is going to be dire, so we're going to rejig our schedule to go & do the 'outside stuff' today. We're going to see the naval museum, wander around Central Park (properly this time), and we are going to find some cheesecake.
INcidentally, Carole & I are eating like pigs; fast-food & lots of it, accompanied with candies, sweets, cakes & the like! I'm still doingmy exercises, but I expect to be closer to 90 kilos when I get back!
Right then, got to get going, C wants to sign in & have a look around.
