Try putting in an offer on a house in a foreign language, using a foreign legal system! Works every time!
Directions: take one as directed by your bank manager & hope that they understood what you requested in the first place & did not mistranslate that into something like “I’d like to go to debtors prison, please”
Do not exceed stated dose. But then again, what is the stated dose? Do you speak Dutch legal-ese? For further instructions, see our websites, with additional instructions available in Klingon, Innuit & Swahili.
Side effects include: sleepless nights, heart palpitations, sudden panic attacks, early onset alcoholism, weight gain, obscure dreams, sudden realisation that this was a stupid idea & penury.
EDIT: Our initial offer was rejected, we rejected their counter offer, but our counter-counter offer is being considered seriously, as far as I can tell (ie the estate agent made positive noises & seems to think that there is a good chance that we can get this sorted).
