Wednesday

I’ve just got off the phone with the solicitors & can now report that the 10% bank-bond has been delivered. My relief is physical, in that I suddenly feel as though I’ve had my strings cut – I didn’t realise just how much this was preying on my mind.  As such, I intend on having a glass of wine tonight to celebrate – at least it is another hoop that successfully jumped through; just another hundred or so to take-care of in the next month…!

Also, last night, I went to my Dutch course. I still think that it’s broadly a waste of time, as I always come away feeling like a moron but… I try to keep my promises, so I went.

Top bananna!

Comment with the words "Top Ten" or "Top Five", and I will reply with a subject for which you will generate a top ten (or top five) list. Post the list and these instructions in your own journal, if you want to.

[profile] whollyrandom gave me Top Five Relaxation Techniques. In no particular order:
  1. Solving the problem that is preventing me from relaxing, thus achieving ‘closure’ (a sickening Americanism, & I apologise in advance)
  2. Consumption of alcohol in a social setting; a personal favourite, this.
  3. Going to the Turkish Steam baths – preferably the ones in Harrogate.
  4. Exercise; doing something that requires physical & mental effort takes my mind off the problem & helps me relax.
  5. Fantasy extermination of all those responsible for my current problems, possibly twinned with fantasy escape of ‘what I would do if I win the lottery’ (not that I play it)
