Apr. 5th, 2007 12:51 pmGiven yesterdays rather boring LJ entry, I’ve been asked to make todays entry more interesting.
As a result, I can now say that the deeds for the house turned up, the tattoo no longer hurts when I roll over onto it, the cat had a large tick on her – but this had escaped somewhere into the house by the time we’d taken her to the vet (which potentially puts us all in danger of the blood-sucking fiend). When C came home, we made plans to unleash electricians upon the new house, with lights being replaced in pretty much every room & a new fuse-box being a priority (the previous owner liked really small LED spotlights, which require large transformers* to be plugged in all over the place).

The moving company have agreed to drop off some boxes for us this Saturday so that we can start the packing process & get the really delicate items secured away before the whirlwind descends. The TV, telephone & internet for the new place has been arranged – but still no word from Hilversum council, with whom we need to register to…. Er get our bins emptied etc We also have to arrange Last Will & Testaments, which is going to be fun.
That’s about it.
