A moment of DOH!

Last night I made some calls to people in Leeds, relating to me going over on the 1^st June – but since then I’ve had a change of plans forced upon me; I woke up at 3am with a profound realisation… Basically, the finances are not as good as I had thought as I’d completely forgotten the impending credit-card bill, bringing with it the cost of the new computer. This neatly destroys my ability to finance flights, as about €700 is going to vanish from my bank account in short order, moving the finances from ‘ok considering’, to ‘dammit!’

 

As such, apologies to everyone who was contacted & whose expectations were raised* but it looks as though my planned trip to Leeds is off the cards – at least until next month, at the earliest. 

 

The other stuff that was discussed (flights to Limoge, followed by train, christening & then ‘stuff’) are still arranged though.  I mean, a load of role-players in a converted monastery in the south of France, tanked up on wine & more food than we can really appreciate? All it takes is someone to bring some dice and then… well, its all fun until someone goes & looses a character.
