I've just had an extremely disapointing phone conversation with the rental agency concerning my place in Leeds. Tthey have confirmed that the house is being vacated, in about 2 weeks time, meaning that it will be ready for the renovation work. This is the good news.

Sadly, they've completely changed their tune about what renovation work is now needed & whether or not they can do this, which is incedibly frustrating - especially as I've had them serve eviction notice to the tenants on the (verbally confirmed) grounds that they were going to do the renovation work.

So now I'm left high and dry. Again. I dont really know what to do at this stage, but its now looking as though I'm heading to Leeds in about 3 weeks time to do some basic renovation work, leaving my pregnant wife back at home whilst I do this. What fun.

They've also told me that the kitchen (the brand new kitchen that C's dad installed) needs major renovation done on it, which is mind-bogglingly irritating. I've been told that they can get some people in to do the renovation work for me, if I want - but it will cost - or I can do it myself.

I swear I am trying to keep it together, but this is now getting utterly rediculous.
