Yay!

As C has mentioned, we have a heartbeat, which means that things are, statistically, much more likely to progress normally from here on in. Of course, scans are only as good as the instant that they are taken, so they are something of a hostage to fortune - but even so, we saw a heartbeat & the odds are now moving in a more positive direction.

Imust admit that I've been almost unbearably tense these last few days, and, after I saw the heartbeat, I just burst into tears. Still, this now means that we can relax a bit. To far, I've done celebratory shopping, eaten a celebratory cream-cake, and am about to embark upon celebratory vacuum cleaning...

Its excellent news, and its shaping just about everything. Heck, volcanoes could be erupting outside, and it could be snowing dinosaurs... but it would still be a good day!
