Have made whiskey cake using a Dundee cake recipe, but first soaking the fruit for 2 weeks in the remains of a bottle of whiskey.

I have a powerful urge to test it further. Just to make sure that it remains as utterly delicious all the way through.

C reports that she is particularly fond of the 75% proof cherries.

And we have enough ingredient to make another one or Christmas
