Also known as "the day before my sisters visit". So far the front hedge has been trimmed, the shed has been emptied, and progress has been made on cleaning the main bedroom; it has been upgraded from "hell-hole" to "bedlamic", so a job well done there.

C & I have also fed 5 cats (ours, Rosie & Nicks & Matt & Zoes) and have helped ourselves to a wide range of white goods from peoples houses as a form of payment. (Only kidding) - actually, a 'thanks' to Matt & Zoe for the bottle of wine (it *was* for us, wasn't it?) it is much appreciated, and shall be enjoyed.

What else? Well its blisteringly hot here (so naturally its a perfect day to be loading things into & out of the loft) and the diet is proceeding apace. I've no idea of what weight I am (weigh in on Monday) but I've stuck to spirit of the diet so whatever I am, I'm going to be a winner (though I admit, I could also be a looser too, if I've gained weight - the classifications are not mutually exclusive)

Anyway, back to it. The girl is complaining of a headache, so I suspect that tea & sympathy is required.

Bugger!

... well, I didn't go to Stabcon because my sisters were going to be turning up, but I've just had a phone call telling me that they cant make it; Sarah is sadly unwell. Damnably, this means that they're not going to be making it - meaning that I've missed stabcon & also not going to see my sisters either.

Pity - it would have been nice to see them again. Oh well. I wonder... I could do a day at Stabcon, perhaps? Hmm....
