Oct. 31st, 2005 08:09 amMonday morning. Weight miraculously down 2kg to 84kg (which, frankly, I doubt very much indeed) – perhaps a kg, but 2? Nah.
The concert in Utrecht yesterday was very pleasant, even though the songs were rather on the morbid side (but beautiful nonetheless) and the trip did necessitate me failing my diet as I had an extra meal in the day, cos at 9pm I became very hungry indeed, so decided to eat, rather than try to bully through. So it was a ‘controlled fail’ rather than ‘food carnage’, which, I guess, is a plus.
There is still no word from the gardeners, despite me phoning him several times over the weekend; if it were exclusively up to me, I’d have cut my losses by now (he runs a business, fer’crisssake! His phone is essential to him! At the very least I’d have expected him to have got his phone working by now!) but C has convinced me to wait for until the end of the day. Things, afterall, do happen to peoples phones & bank accounts etc. But if he’s not contactable by the end of play today, he can take a long walk; I appreciate hes a friend of a friend, but I’m not prepared to tolerate this.
Right then. I suppose I’d better get on with it, eh?
