(no subject)

Well, it *seems* to be working ok, now - but whether it will stay that way, only time will tell. I do, however, seem to have recovered my documents from my old hard-drive but it seemed to be littered with errors on it; when everything was deleted from it (all the old stuff) there was still a lot of memory in use - I couldn't format it or anything, moreover, when I finally removed the partition on it, the drive ceased to act as a drive - not registering with the computer at all, so I suspect that its totally 'bolloxed' (I believe that is the correct technical term, yes?).

Right then. Back to unpacking & cleaning...
