Wednesday night
Feb. 15th, 2006 07:41 pmWell, I've survived over half the week, and I've had praise from both my boss and the auditor - but I'm not sure if this last bit is good, tbh... At present, C is away at her Dutch course in town centre, which means that I'm not going to see her until tomorrow morning (I'll be in the land of nod when she comes back, in all probability) and it also means that I've got the housework to do before she comes back as I seem to remember promising to vacuum cleaning the stairs at some point. Damn Valentines Day & its pressure upon relationships! *shakes fist at the sky*
After that, it going to be a combination of listening to my new CD (Blondies greatest hits) and writing the BNW returns; its close (over 10,000 words & counting and about 80 - 85% done) so a few hours should polish it off. Who knows, it might even get it done by this weekend - which would be nice and would leave me free to do 'stuff' with my wife! We were thinking of a cinema trip, as we've not been for a while and there is bound to be something on that we want to watch.
In addition to the above news, I have also got some excellent news - I have located a source of Black Sheep Beer!. A friend of ours who runs a beer shop over here tried it at the party & liked it sufficiently to get it stocked, so "*yay!*" No idea on the prices involved, I suspect 'a lot more than I expect to pay' but it is damn good news nonetheless.
Right then. I hear the dulcet tone of the vacuum cleaner summoning me. Joy.
