You can tell that its going to be a bad day, when you worked until 7-30 the previous night to get stuff cleared & when you get back in, you find 50 emails waiting for you, detailing several major tasks that all have to be done before year end (which, thanks to an administrative quirk, starts on the 18th December & spans both Christmas & New Year). As you might be able to guess, it’s a “much stress” at work today.

In other news, I heard that my sister, Lucy, has got engaged, and I subsequently had a very long & very pleasant conversation with my parents last night, so that’s some good news.

Right then, back to it.
