Friday

Yesterday afternoon (at about 3pm) we had an awful storm here; the sky went black & there were repeated lightning strikes all across the city. Even inside, we could hear the wind screaming. & the trees were being thrown around. I didn’t think much more of it until I was walking home & heard the news about the tornado in London; I guess that it could have been the same front – about 5 hours later, on the same latitude? Whilst it was nowhere as terrifying as it had been in London (assuming it was the same storm), it was still pretty bl**dy spectacular…!

In other news, I cant seem to focus my eyes for some reason – I feel as though I’ve got mist in front of everything. I think that I’m just tired, but I cant work out a reason why – I slept well enough last night as far as I can tell…

On the other hand, its Friday which means that all I have to do is survive the next 5 hours & then I can take a break for a few days. Thank God.
