Thoughts on being an Expat
Aug. 6th, 2007 10:35 amI’ve been feeling rather unsettled ever since I came back from the Christening in France, and I think that I’ve finally worked out why I feel like this. Essentially, its because I’m finding it really hard to integrate, whilst also having lost the comfort blanket of being a Briton, in Britain.
In other news concerning the Leeds trip on the 7th to the 15th September - I have no plans & do not intend to make any this far in advance – but my preference is that I meet up with people ‘at some point’ for ‘stuff’. More on this when I get to speak with people.
Lastly, the weight; 86 kilos, down 2; I guess that the diet of muesli for breakfast & a brisk 20 minute walk in the evening (or 10 minutes rowing, depending if its raining) is having some benefits.

*Presumably it’s freestyle. Though I am worried that there might be rules that I’ve not learned.
