I don’t know what it is, but both C & I are absolutely exhausted, for no apparent reason. I mean, going to bed at 9 & sleeping until 7 seems to be a late evening that causes a sleep-hangover!
Consider:
- Friday, came home, collapsed into bed at 10pm
- Saturday, got up at 8, went to Groeningen, had sleep-related headache all day, played boardgames until ‘about 11’, when went to bed due to being so tired.
- Sunday, got up at 8, went to church, were irritated with the choirs antics*, played boardgames, went home, watched Galactica, collapsed into bed.
This should have been a relaxing weekend – but it wasn’t. Both C & I were so tired by Sunday night that we were shaking with fatigue & prone to doze off at random intervals. It was great to see Alex & Rinnike and we’re looking forward to seeing them in about 2 weeks time, but we’ve got to resolve the “being exhausted” issues that we’re facing.
Weight unchanged, despite a lot of rowing & a weekend of being extremely good; 85 kilos, possibly even slightly up a fraction (ie 85.2, rather than 'definitely 85' - understandable if muscle were making an appearance, but they're not).
S
*An ok choir, but they refused to do as they were told by the priest (our friend Rinnike, so we know this for a fact). They decided that they wouldn’t sit in the choirs seats, wouldn’t sit in a separate section of the church & every 5 minutes they caused a rearrangement of furniture & people so that they could be herded up to the altar, sing a single verse & then return to their seats. There were a lot of quietly mutinous people stuck there, 20 minutes longer than usual because of their shenanigans.
