After an astonishingly interesting Sunday, I'm glad to report that C & I are back home, safe & sound. Whilst it probably wasn't as close as it felt, it felt pretty darn close - C was loosing a hell of a lot of blood (her lips turned blue & she started to slip into shock), but the hospital intervened - in force and successfully.

Despite the fact that she passed 4 very large clots (initially all over the bathroom floor, in gory technicolour), the pregnancy sack was still in place - requiring them to operate. This was the low-point of the day for me, primarily because it saw me sat in the waiting room, all alone for about 20 minutes, feeling as though a big black abyss had opened at my feet.

Since then, C has gone from strength to strength, and is now back to almost-normal, but I feel as though I've gone through the wringer; I'm absolutely shattered - both physically and mentally. I've told my boss that I will be working from home tomorrow, which will help somewhat, but its not been a particularly restful day.
