As part of the ongoing Brexit turmoil , I have to report that I have been to the doctors due to stress-related symptoms. Whilst I'm not in any danger, I had a few scary moments related to pains in my chest which set some alarm bells ringing as they couldn't eliminate the possibility of heart problems.

Fortunately, I've done the tests and everthing has come back ok, and the pains have gone, so lets hope thats the end of that particular concern. Worrying about Brexit and how it will impact me & my direct family is one thing - worrying about that plus my health & how Brexit is affecting me is something I really dont want. They think that its a flare-up of GERD (gastro-esophogeal reflux disorder?) - when an excess of stomach acid splashes up my throat & causes aches. Its not fun, but doesn't come with the danger of instant death. Yay.

So back to the main event. Last night there was a meeting between Corbyn and the Norwayists in the Tory party which was described as 'very productive' - unlike the meeting between Barnier and the the Brexit Sectetary & Atourney General which was (by all accounts) registered on the bad-tempered disaster scale.

Also, interestingly, the House of Lords have passed legislation that requires the UK to enter into a customs union with the EU post Brexit - May will have to overturn this in the Commons (and will find it difficult) because her authoritiy is about as low as it can get.

Given this, I think that the odds of a no deal have shrunk (slightly), the chances of ref 2 have dropped (significantly) and the chances of Norway winning by default have increased slightly. The mood music seems to be quite clear on this, especially as polls show a massive spike in favour of allowing EU migrants working in the UK post Brexit. Which is yet another of Mays - citizens of nowhere - faults.

I still think she'll do her unimaginative utmost to railroad a hard Brexit through (probably by making MPs vote for the same deal until they accept it). Or by doubling down on her pathetic attempts at porkbarrel approach politics (overtly bribing MPs with public money for their constituencies - in violation of the law - and the bribes are less than their constituencies currently get!?).

Truly, May is an incompetent par excellence.
