Winding Down...

Well, I’ve just returned from my Dutch course, and whilst it as was traumatic and unpleasant as I expected, it would appear that my initial assessments of ‘me in middle of classes ability range’ & ‘me in upper range of ability to take notes’ is pretty much correct. Most of the other people also had serious problems with the homework, either not attempting it or (in the case of 7 people out of a class of 17) simply not turning up. On some level, I feel chuffed that I had a go, even though it was horribly depressing & the outcome was not something I want to share…

The downside from the course is that I get home for about 10:45 & am starving, and also have an inability to mentally shut down until I’ve unwound a bit. So, 500 words of BNW returns, several LJ comments & an entry later, here I am.

Right then. Off to bed.
