Aug. 17th, 2006 12:41 pmEve does sound soooo tempting. Of course, I’d have to upgrade my computer (lots) and put the rest of my life on hold, but… I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that I was very tempted… On the other hand, I’m reasonably certain its not going to happen. Carole would kill me!
Following a conversation with Matt, I enclose a potted version of my vague & probably incoherent plans for my weekend:
Spend Friday night over at Mavis's mainly to play boardgames.
Saturday morning in Leeds, doing “Stuff that has to be done” (mainly shouting at the bank), followed by going over to Matt & Zöes for a take-away, bottle of wine, DVD & board-game around at Matts - just generally chat & chill.
Sunday, lunch at Fuji Hiro from ‘about 1pm’ – subject to me getting confirmation of my return flights time. I’m fairly confident that its at 6pm, but it might be at 2-30, so this is both a desired part of my plans and also subject to change. And an indication that I need to write things down more often.
Thats about it. Looking forward to getting my 48 hour leave!
